Band Bio
Electramode is an original hard rock band from Canton, Ohio. Chris Eckroad (Vocals) Dan Smarr (Bass) and Frank Swanson (Drums) recorded their debut CD, 9 shortly before Gary Carraway joined the band in 2002 on Guitars. Some of their influences include Led Zeppelin, STP, Sound Garden, the Beatles and Black Sabbath. They have a contagious sound that grabs the attention of everyone at the show. They�ve preformed at several popular venues in the area including Sadie Rene�s, Peabody�s, The Carriage House, Mango�s, Shaker�s, VooDoo and outdoor shows at The Football Hall of Fame Ribs Burn Off, and Rock 107�s Rockin� Wings Fest and The Canton Car Festival. They are of the favorites of Rock 107 Local Licks and have won several times on their Local Cage match on Friday nights. They are currently promoting their second CD, Cavin In.
Frank left to pursue other musical endeavors and Darryl Shisler joined the band as the drummer in 2007. Frank Swanson returned as the drummer in 2010 and they are working on material for a new album.
